Krishna Chaitanya Rao, Chief Operating Officer, Bangalore |

Mr. Krishna Chaitanya Rao is a Chemical Engineer by training and has been the project manager of S3IDF’s Indian affiliate office at Bangalore since its origin. Krishna is responsible for the overall staff management and program oversight of the India office operations. He has the lead responsibility in project development for all S3IDF portfolio and pipeline activities and his duties include managing key partner and funder relationships, negotiating agreements with financial institutions and entrepreneurs, fundraising and networking, and reporting on staff progress and project status to S3IDF’s Board and President. He is also involved in the technical aspects of S3IDF’s project development work and for certain projects oversees financial engineering.
Krishna also has extensive experience in the Information Technology industry gained through his previous work experience at Juno Online Services, an Internet Service Provider in the United States. In this role, Krishna was the point of contact for the Quality assurance of WebMail product and for the Migration processes of Juno users from outsourced systems to the company systems. |

Nataraja Kundapura, Projects Manager, Bangalore |

Mr Nataraj has been working with S3IDF since June 2004 as Project Associate and his duties include identification of specific investment opportunities, arranging/developing investment(s) partnerships and coordinating implementation of small-scale pro-poor infrastructure projects.
Nataraj completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Kuvempu University in 1995 and an MBA in Marketing in 2006. Subsequent to his engineering degree, Nataraj served as a branch manager (Mangalore Branch) of ATCO Products Ltd., an Indian firm manufacturing and retailing electronic weighing scales and weigh bridges, for around one and a half years. He then moved on to serving as the Director of Apex Pyro Char Ltd., which manufactured and distributed coconut-based products for three years. He has then served as a Project associate for four years with Automation Research, Mysore, a firm providing engineering, research and development consultancy and manufacturing services for special purpose machinery to the manufacturing sectors. He joined S3IDF in the year 2004 first as a consultant and then subsequently as a Project Associate. From very early stages of his career, Nataraj has shown a flair for entrepreneurship and enterprise development. |

Saraswathi K B, Administration & Accounts, Bangalore |

Ms K.B. Saraswathi is the administrative & accounts in-charge of the office. She joined S3IDF in the year 2004 and has been involved in the day-to-day administrative functioning of the organization. She also is responsible for accounts keeping, financial transactions and other office maintenance along with some projects co-ordination work.
Saraswathi is a BBA graduate. She also done her HR & Finance courses from HR House, Bangalore. She has vast experience in corporates like Festo Controls Pvt Ltd (Germany based) and Japan Metal Building Systems Pvt Ltd (Japan based) companies. |

Ramamani Rao, Public Relations & Fundraising, Bangalore |

Ms. Ramamani Rao looks after fundraising activities, donor relations, proposal development & reporting, project documentation, publicity & promotional materials for the organization.
She is a postgraduate from Bangalore University with prior experience in local & global projects management, co-ordination, implementation, PR & fundraising for local & global projects concerning the issues of the Environment, NRM, Conservation, RE/EE, community based initiatives and participatory approaches involving the poor for improved conditions, sustainable livelihoods & poverty alleviation. She has worked with International & National NGOs like Greenpeace India, Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology & the Environment (ATREE), Biovarsity International (formerly known as International Plant Genetics Resources Institute) etc. |

Rajendra Prasad Mudgal, Regional Projects Head, Hubli |

Rajendra Prasad is based out of Hubli office. His responsibilities include identifying key infrastructure needs and entrepreneurs, developing and implementing projects in the north - west karnataka region.
Rajendra was a Deshpande Fellow at Deshpande Foundation before joining S3IDF. He has also worked earlier with BAIF Institute for Rural Development- Karnataka (BIRD-K) as Block Programme Office. He has rich experience in implementing the watershed activities and community development Projects. |

Leena Rajyalakshmi, Programme Director, Hyderabad |

B. Leena Rajyalakshmi has been with S3IDF since 3 ½ years she started her career as a lecturer and worked as Associate Professor in Home Science Studies & Research for 18 years. She also worked as Assistant Project Officer (Women) in DRDA’s of two Districts in Andhra Pradesh specially for Development of Women and Children in Rural Areas (DWCRA) Project of Rural Development before joining S3IDF for 10 years. She had under gone many trainings in Rural Development and Poverty Alleviation and executed many trainings too. She had experience in working with Organizations like UNICEF, CARE, KVK and many local NGO’s Government of Andhra Pradesh & NABARD has given appreciation certificate more than 3 times for mobilizing Rural Self Help Groups (SHG’s) Women , bank linkage and conducting state level DWCRA Melas, visited Bangladesh and Participated in International Programmers’ at Centre for Integrated Rural for Asia Pacific (CIRDAP) & Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD) participated in National Programmers’ conferences of Home Science Association of India (HSAI) at Udaipur Coimbatore, and in Banker Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), Lucknow, National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh Academy for Rural Development (APARD) Hyderabad, Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM) Hyderabad, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) Hyderabad. Her areas of interest are group dynamics Livelihood Improvement and Income Generating Activities which eco friendly.

Mr. Raju Gundu has a Masters in Sociology & Rural Development, Masters Diploma in Computer Applications and Masters in Human Resource Management. His career profile includes working as Enumerator in Action for Integrated Rural & Tribal Development Social Service Society, a team leader in Hyderabad for Urban Development Authority conducting group research activities lake development programs and environment protection campaigns,a coordinator in SERENE SERVICES (Rehabilitation Centre for Mentally Challenged), and as Project Associate in Global Village Energy Partnership (GVEP) in Administrative Staff College of India under Shri T.L Sankar
He works as Project Officer at S3IDF Hyderabad office on various projects like Last Mile, LED Homelighting, Self-Help Group driven income generating activities involving power driven machinery and energy saving devices, Community Kitchens using LPG, Village Panchayat projects on safe drinking water, training and capacity building for women on Green Auditing and other livelihood projects. |
