  Partners

S3IDF is a partner-driven organization and works in close collaboration with all stakeholders of the projects. The project partners include local communities/end-beneficiaries, technology suppliers, financial institutions (FI), grassroot NGOs, research groups and other organizations. These partners participate in all the stages of the project cycle, such as project identification, pre-investment, implementation, operations and monitoring and evaluation, with their own specific roles.

Technology Providers: Technology/know-how suppliers/manufacturers: participate in sharing pre-investment costs, project identification, training/servicing and in instances provide as financial intermediary role
(e.g. leasing) besides supplying equipment.

Another recent approach in S3IDF partnerhsip has been creation and fostering of local Supply Chain Players to provide infrastructure services in the rural areas, who in turn incubate and manage a network of local enterpreneurs, thus exponentially increasing the outreach and impact of S3IDF interventions.
