FUNDS AND CONTRIBUTIONS
   

The US-based “The Small-Scale Sustainable Infrastructure Development Fund, Inc.” is a 501(c)(3) public charity organization. The India-based non-profit affiliate “Small Scale Sustainable Infrastructure Fund” has been granted the Section 12 A(a) recognition under the Indian Tax Act in 2004. It is registered as a Section 25 Company under the Indian Companies Act 1956.

Donors can claim exemption under Section 80G. FCRA, 1976 status is pending for the India-based non-profit affiliate “Small Scale Sustainable Infrastructure Fund”.

 

Funding Institutions and Organisations

S3IDF invites funding institutions interested in supporting and developing environmentally sustainable small-scale infrastructure services to financially support S3IDF in the following way:

  • For S3IDF’s activities under a specific multi-project initiative, such as its India initiative for pro-poor energy services or for only water and sanitation projects or for a certain time-slice of the portfolio/pipeline development.

  • For a specific bundle of small-scale project investments in S3IDF’s evolving project pipeline.

  • For support for specific S3IDF activities, such as critical pre-investment efforts, post-implementation monitoring and evaluation, information dissemination, and/or some of the special studies that S3IDF plans to undertake.

  • Through donations and contributions.

 

Individuals

Individuals interested in encouragement of fostering of environmentally sustainable small-scale infrastructure services can support us in the following ways:

  • Use S3IDF as a vehicle to route your social investments. With the services S3IDF provides to a project, your money could yield better social and financial returns.

  • You can also donate to S3IDF and help to implement its mission.

  • You can support S3IDF in specific project development, monitoring and evaluation activities such as critical pre-investment efforts, post-implementation monitoring and evaluation, information dissemination, and/or some of the special studies that S3IDF plans to undertake.
