Neeraj Doshi
Neeraj Doshi is a Research Analyst with S3IDF (US) from May 2006. At S3IDF, he is primarily responsible for pro-environment appropriate technology research. In addition, he supports S3IDF’s development and outreach activities.
Neeraj holds two masters, one in International Relations from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University with focus on Environment Resource Policy, Development Economics and Sustainable Energy Policy and other in business management from D.A. University, India. He spent his 2005 summer working for Worldwatch Institute in Washington, D.C and Winrock International, New Delhi. At Worldwatch, he assisted in research and writing of “Energy for Development” report published by the Worldwatch Institute for The Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21). The report was presented at the 2005 World Summit at the United Nations in September 2005.
He is actively involved with the campaign for Justice in Bhopal, Association for India’s Development (AID-Boston) and other pro environment activities. While working in Mumbai, he actively volunteered for Reach Education and Action Program (REAP) teaching slum kids, Child Relief and You (CRY) and Greenpeace.
Sarah Johnson
Sarah Johnson has recently joined S3IDF (US) in November 2006 as Office Manager. She has a BA from Williams College where she cultivated a strong academic interest in cities and the built environment. She has studied in Germany and Denmark, and worked in South Korea where she spent a year on a Fulbright Teaching Fellowship. Since graduating she has performed research for projects monitoring urban expansion and housing development on a global scale. In her free time she volunteers at several organizations which promote community development and local engagement in the built environment in Boston. She ultimately plans to pursue a MA in City and Regional Planning with a focus in international development.
